This course is intended for project managers and other project resources that need to understand how to organize project teams, select project manage conflict, as well as perform the traditional project management functions of initiation, planning, execution, control and close out. We will begin with examining the absolute basics of project management. You will finish this course with a great grasp of what project management is, your roles and responsibilities as a project manager and how to move forward in your career as a project manager. At the end of every module every participant receives over 300 PMP Practice Test questions that allows to practice the standard PMP exam questions. It also includes sessions with formulas and calculations associated with project management made easy for your understanding.

 

PMP EXAM CHANGES

The PMP Exam is changing on 1 July, 2020 and the last day to take the current version of the PMP Exam is 30 June 2020. However, the following changes are found on the PMBOK Guide 6

At the beginning of each knowledge area, there are 4 new sections:

  • Key Concepts
  • Trends and emerging practices
  • Tailoring considerations
  • Considerations for Agile/Adaptive Environments

Two knowledge areas have been renamed

  • Schedule Management (formerly known as Time management)
  • Resource Management (formerly known as Human Resource Management)

3 New Processes added to PMBOK Guide 6, namely:

  • Manage Project Knowledge
  • Control Resources
  • Implement Risk Response
